Accuplacer Next Gen Math is for placement into Math courses beyond entry level.

The AVANT Placement test measures real-world language ability in reading, writing, and speaking. The exam is not suitable for those who have never studied or had previous exposure to the particular language they are interested in. Students must take this placement exam before registering for a language class. After successfully completing the designated placement course, students are eligible for Prior Learning Assessment (PLA) credit towards the prerequisite language courses. Select one or more of the available languages after you have added it to the cart.

ESL All Parts. Intended to place non-native speakers of English into various levels of ESL. The complete test requires a written essay.

ESL Partial (section). You can only select one section per purchase.

Prior-learning assessment (PLA) awards college credit, certification or advanced standing for a student’s non-academic experiences and training. Please select the type of Prior Learning Assessment after you have added it to the cart. Please note that while the majority of the Prior Learning Assessments are $25.00, the purchase price of the Portfolio is a total of $60.00.

Texas Success Initiative Assessment (TSIA2)-All Sections including Math and ELAR. All students, unless considered TSIA2 Exempt, must take the Pre-Assessment activity prior to taking the test. Do not purchase if you are a Dual Credit student taking the test for the first time.

TSIA2 Texas Success Initiative Assessment - ELAR (Objective & Essay). All students, unless considered TSIA2 Exempt, must take the Pre-Assessment activity prior to taking the test. Do not purchase if you are a Dual Credit student taking the test for the first time.

TSIA2 Texas Success Initiative Assessment - ELAR Essay Only Retest (You must have already taken full ELAR)

Fee for external students who are Correspondence testing through Lone Star, TCEQ candidates, TCFP candidates, and TSIA2 Vouchers. These students have made prior arrangements either with their college/university or state entity that has been sent to our Testing Center.
