The goal of our Student Life Team is to welcome our student body to Maverick Country and to help students make the most of their Maverick Experience. We hope to fill that experience with opportunities for learning, leadership, community building, and creative expression within and outside of the classroom, as well as at LSC-Montgomery and in the world beyond.

LSC- Montgomery Biotechnology Conference

TBEC’s mission is to advance biotechnology and biomanufacturing education in the Texas Gulf Coast region by connecting educators, students, and industry professionals. The conference aims to showcase Houston as a growing biotech hub, strengthen the biotech workforce through education, and foster industry-academic collaboration.

LSC-Montgomery Cell Culture Workshop

The purposes of this organization shall be to foster a supportive community for individuals who identify as a member of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, and ally (LGBTQIA+) community; provide educational programming for LSC-Montgomery regarding issues prevalent within the LGBTQIA+ community; and advocate for the LGBTQIA+ community at LSC-Montgomery.

LSC-Montgomery Student Nurses Organization

We're a service organization at Lone Star College-Montgomery composed of nursing students, as well as students interested in nursing or a health-related field. Our organization is open to all students with an interest in healthcare. We participate in many volunteer activities geared to promoting health and wellness awareness to our community in the altruistic spirit that is nursing, not only at LSC-Montgomery, but also in Montgomery County. The Student Nurses Organization (SNO) is open to all parties interested in the nursing profession. Members are required to attend one monthly meeting, participate in at least one activity, and submit a $20 fee for the year, which covers dues as well as a SNO T-shirt.

LSC-Montgomery Student Veteran Association

The Student Veteran Association aims to unite LSC-M Veteran students, bridge the civilian-military divide, offer support to fellow veterans, and create a sense of camaraderie on campus.
